Event Description:

TSA will prepare the meal ahead of time and bring it over to Duques to keep things smooth and easy. We’ll start the night with a quick introduction to Taiwanese culture so students can learn a bit about the background behind the food and film they’re about to enjoy. Once everyone has their food, we’ll settle in to watch a Taiwanese movie — either a spooky horror film, or a heartfelt romance movie. The film adds a new cultural lens to the event and makes it more than just a dinner hangout. To enhance the atmosphere, we’ll incorporate Taiwanese-inspired decorations (like night market-style signage or small lanterns). Students can chat, enjoy the cozy setup, and experience what a casual movie night might feel like in Taiwan. The vibe is casual and welcoming, and perfect for taking a break from school stress while discovering something new.
